Publishing rules

  • Every value carries a source and the source's exact words. AI tools never invent a value.
  • A value counts as verified only after it was checked against its source and signed off in the editor's name (verified_method says whether by hand or with the AI-assisted exact-quote check); until then its verification fields are empty and pages that show it are marked as drafts.
  • Rupee prices are published only when a person saw them at a real checkout. Nothing is converted between currencies.
  • Ids and URLs are stable. The change ledger is append-only; corrections are logged on the corrections page.

source_idsSources (sources.json).
verified_at, verified_by, verified_methodSign-off and method, as for datapoints.

sources.json lists each source's URL, title, publisher, type (pricing page, docs, help center, changelog, vendor blog, staff post, press, community, own measurement), the date it was accessed and, where one exists, an archived copy and a hash (fingerprint) of the saved page. plans.json gives each plan's product, name, audience (free, individual, team, enterprise), region (global or India only) and status (active, legacy, discontinued).

Versions

The file layout is version v1. A breaking change to the layout gets a new version path; the old one keeps working for a transition period announced here.
